Valentine’s Day is two days away so I thought it would be fun to come up with the top 10 reasons why I love my hubby! Hank is such an amazing husband and father and I fall more and more in love with him every day. Ok that might have sounded a little cheesy but I meant it lolol.
Top 10 Reasons Why I Love Hank!
1. He wakes up every morning with a smile on his face, no matter what happened the day before. 2. He’s spontaneous…if we are just layin on the couch bored, he’ll just turn on some music and ask me to dance! 3. He is what I can call a REAL man: he’s the protector, lover, father, husband and he lives up to the word MAN. 4. His heart is golden, he cares more for others than himself. 5. He’s loyal… never turns his back on what he loves. 6. He’s sooooo funny!! He makes funny faces and doesn’t take life so seriously. 7. He’s a true gentleman! Opens doors for me, buys flowers for me once a week and makes sure I’m always happy 8. He’s a HUGE romantic… guys are scared of being romantic but not Hank! 9. He’s a very positive thinker… always turns bad into good 10. HE’S SOOOO FREAKIN HOT!!! LOL
I had a blast at Lavo hosting a pre-Superbowl party on Saturday! It kind of looks like I’m in a Kendra costume, huh? I didn’t see the game, though, because I took off for Mexico Sunday morning to begin work on a few projects! As long as I don’t get too cross-eyed (see pic below) . . . I should get a lot done this week! I am at the most picturesque resort . . I will tell you where and post photos from it when I return to Vegas! I am having a blast in Mexico but am excited to return to Vegas to start working on a few new numbers for Peepshow and begin working with a local animal shelter . . Christmas was always a really big deal in my family and my mom always went all out to make it really special for me and my brother. I have sooooo many amazing xmas memories and i’m sure this one will top the rest now that i’m sharing it with my son and my hubby!!! I feel like the luckiest girl in the world right now!
I can’t wait to start my own family traditions and i’m so excited to make every xmas memorable for lil hank like my mom did for me!

I love the new issue of Vegas magazine! I was surprised to notice that the photo they used of me inside on page 82 and 83 appears to be a raw, unretouched photo. Also, the gorgeous cover shot of Padma Lakshmi shows the scar on her arm. I find this lack of retouching so refreshing. Don’t get me wrong, I need as much or more digital help than the next person, but I am a fan of the skill required of a photographer who can take a great photo without having to run straight to the computer to make it look good.
Here are some outtakes from the shoot in Marilyn Monroe’s clothes by Denise Truscello. This shoot was a dream come true for me because I am obsessed with Marilyn and my favorite toy as a kid was a book of Marilyn Monroe paper dolls my aunt gave me. The frilly lavendar jacket in the picture below was one of the items depicted in the paper doll set, in fact. Pick up a copy of Vegas magazine to see the photo they chose for the “centerfold”!
My date last night on the way home from “Peepshow” at Planet Hollywood: “I love the show. It was fun. It is all about Holly Madison. She is so wonderful and cute and fun to watch.” I am quoting my date to “Peepshow” because, more than any of the other adult show in Vegas, this is meant as a couples show. There are a series of male characters, for example, who have significant roles. More importantly, there is a bubbly snuggle quality that seems built into the show: a frothy topless show created with Broadway-quality talent and production values. I think the result is a great date night if you are in an adult mood in Vegas. I have already reviewed “Peepshow.” And though there have been significant alterations to accommodate the cast changes, the core remains.
Of course, the two stars are deserving of comment. Holly Madison gets the lion’s share of the credit even though she might be the least technically talented person on a stage loaded with top tier dancers and singers. You can almost hear her mind counting to her mark at certain points in the show. I suspect that will change as her ability to technically execute the show increases with practice. But I hope not too much, because I think her slight hint of awkwardness is one of the show’s charms. Watching Madison, you know there is a real person on stage who has used will and hard work to become a Las Vegas headliner despite having no background for the job. And for an upbeat show like “Peepshow,” the feeling she gives the audience is more important than technique. She projects her thrill to be there on stage fulfilling a dream, loves every minute of it and she is able to communicate her happiness to the audience, and that makes her really work in the show. Charisma cannot be taught, and Holly Madison has that quality on stage.
“It will be a guilty pleasure with a lot of eye candy.” That’s how Peepshow star Holly Madison described her new reality TV series Planet Holly to me in an exclusive interview. Holly will film it entirely on location here in Las Vegas starting Oct. 12 — one day after E! Entertainment launches a two-night premiere of the new season of The Girls Next Door.
Those two debut episodes have Holly’s former love Hugh Hefner leading his new three-pack of blonde beauties to reunite with her to watch her perform in the topless burlesque cabaret here at Planet Hollywood! Holly will continue to make several guest appearances on The Girls Next Door this season as a continuing ratings booster — and great cross-promotion for her own new series.
Holly told me: “There will be elements of GND in my show because there is such a fan following for it. It’s all good-natured and not mean like other reality shows. I’m really excited about the new series because I am also getting a legitimate co-producer credit for all the work I do behind the camera. It’s not a vanity credit. I’m super excited to learn from the best and take on new responsibilities.”

Hi everyone!!! So the other day I realized I needed a new look so I decided to go with the mommy haircut. I chopped off my hair to my shoulders!!!!! AHHHHHHH LOL.
I really like it…it’s so much easier to manage and in a few months I’m definitely not going to have much time to deal with my hair so this is definitely a great change

Hank and i have soooo much to do to prepare for our baby’s arrival, but one thing we can already cross off our list is coming up with a name. We’ve already decided to name our son Hank Baskett IV!!!
Hank’s dad and his grandfather were both named Hank, so it was very important to us to carry on the family tradition.
Last week hank and i went to the 2009 ESPY awards at the nokia theater in LA! U all know i love anything sports related, so i obviously had soooo much fun!
Its just so cool getting to see so many legendary athletes in one place!!!!! We met a ton of awesome people and we got to take a pic with Evander Holyfield!
